Why are dogs on the pitch not a thing anymore?

Oh for a 'Killer' type centre half!....and tactically aware that they'd used all their subs!

It's also 30 years ago this month that we made out last ever visit to Highbury.
5 defeats and 1 draw in our last 6 visits, our only win on that ground coming way back in 1924 with a goal by Donald Cock who ended up joining Arsenal later that same season. We did win five times at their old ground. I wonder if we'll ever play a league game at their new one.

I was there at that one as well....a strange ground where you could move all around the terracing from one end to the other without stewarding!

Don’t remember the game, but I do remember drinking in The Flask in Hampstead beforehand. The two facts may be related.

Arsenal used to be the team I watched when I first lived in London in the 80s - I can recall almost 60,000 for some cup ties and standing at the back of a very packed North Bank. Lovely old ground, Highbury. Never been to the Emirates, but maybe we’ll draw them in the third round of the FA Cup one day…
