Thanks for the insights from the away end, was relying on the radio commentary. Good to hear JOB putting a shift in. I wonder why this tenacity doesn't rub off on some of the other players? ...Hopefully things improve, not that long ago we had Alan Smith to go on for the last ten minutes to see a game out now we have DKE. Was Brindley injured? Any how COYP

Burchnall says we missed Cameron and Rawlinson. We were crap when they were playing as well.

    My thoughts exactly.

Sketchy reports coming through that IB has been suspended?

If ever a result and performance underlined the frailties in the manager and his team then this was it. ! IB needs to get nasty off the pitch and we need someone to get nasty on the pitch.! Yes we were bereft of the defensive spine again but this was not about that this was about guts , footballing nous , game management and leadership on and off the park. How on earth you cant see a game out against 10 men with a 2 goal cushion is near on impossible ! I said after Saturdays defeat we needed to use that game and learn from it , as it stands we seemed to have learned very little unless off course we see a new addition to the squad that is more mature , football savvy and a SOB in the middle of the pitch barking out orders ! or a forward that will finish of the chances we create preferably both ! IB you need to brush up on your tactics on how to close a game down when 2-0 up

They also learned that players fetch a lot more money the higher up the league you are.

For the Reedtz brothers to make a success of their model, they also need Notts to be successful on the pitch. Who right now looks a sellable asset than Ruben Rodrigues?
Roberts and Wootton might get a small fee ??

Yeah you need a mix of both youth and experience.

Thomas Frank lost 8 of his first 10 games at Brentford too.

It takes time to get that right or to make it work I dont think our fans have the patience for that though.

    !
I don’t think that’s fair on our fans. Neither Brentford or Swansea started off in non league. The model may well work in League 2 because they’ve got 4 promotion places, you fail one year, you’ve still got a decent chance the next(apart from us of course) You can develop young players in this league, but the unfortunate thing is that you still have to be winning week in, week out.

What we’ve seemingly assembled this season is a squad of individually good players, but with zero mental strength or nous to play for 90 minutes and see out the difficult situations that win you games. Is that sort of thing accounted for in ‘The Model’?

Ah, right, I’m beginning to see your point. Things aren’t really that bad because we are still a division above Alfreton Town.

You are either incredibly stupid or a brilliant troll.

Brentford also signed players from overseas. We can't do that. We have to battle it out with all the other lower League clubs in Britain for the same players...and then, when it fails, sign two lads from our direct rivals who they seemed to be not up to it.
