Don't think I'm particularly cynical. In a world of 7.9 billion people it's important to keep context. 150,000 die daily, with or without covid, and 100k of those are old age. The death rate has stayed remarkably stable even with the pandemic.

Pandemics run in cycles regardless of vaccines. the last big one in 1918 was 2 years. A bad flu outbreak in the late sixties and the H1N1 in 2009 also lasted around 2 years. Covid will start to taper off near year end regardless of jabs or not.

You can't stop the spread and you can't lock people up indefinitely. The damage done to future generations will be far greater than the flu itself. The lost freedom and liberties will also likely never be relinquished. Power, like taxes, are never given back volantarily. The financial damage to working people has been enormous and will only get worse with each month of lockdowns.

And yes, the corruption of big tech, journalists and media as well as the politicians is endemic. Trust them at your own peril. If that's cynical then I am a cynic.

That sounds like no fun whatsoever - hopefully things get better for you ASAP.

Just add that Coronavirus has exacerbated whole family’s mental health to the point that many are about to break up. Stress, anxiety and strain in terms of finances have broken such families and created so many other issues.

Poverty in the Pandemic is one such issue in that family life has been turned upside down by coronavirus. Sudden loss of earnings, additional caring responsibilities in the face of school and nursery closures, caring for elderly relatives, increased costs and home schooling were just some of the challenges facing families during the peak of the crisis.

There is no doubt that coping with these challenges is a lot easier if you have money and access to other resources so says a report by Child Poverty Action Group research team - a research report undertaken in Leeds 11,the community surrounding Elland Road.I suspect all on here to a degree knows folks in similar a dilemma wherever we live.

As a result of the pandemic, nearly six in 10 families in Leeds 11 said they are struggling to cover the cost of three or more basic essentials, including food, utilities, rent, travel or child-related costs – and around half the families said they now have a new or worse debt problem. Today there is no indication that people’s financial problems have eased in recent months sadly.
Businesses are profiteering from this virus just look at supermarkets and their markups.
People don't understand the jab is there to reduce the damage it can do to you. It does not stop you from getting it or passing it on. It is for your own safety. I was sh-t scared of getting it due to my ill health but then I said f it and wish it was around before I got covid.
I understand people have been hesitant and all that but are they sure this virus only kills the aged and the sick as I have met people fit as a fiddle and they got it bad also what about all these athletes sportspeople who are fit why do they get it?
Again set aside media social media anti vexxers believers so on. Do you trust yourselves and do you trust others?
No one will answer that because either one is a NO.
Again here where I live life is normal we probably had 6 weeks of closures since the start and all businesses are open. Do I trust my town Yes Sir? Do I want to go out of my town No F way.
Instead of turning with one another what is the world doing with the Chinese arse holes why is it all quiet on that front? Instead there arguing about some f n submarine deal

Seems you are suggesting that msm have the franchise on facts and anything else is a "conspiracy theory". Stalin had a special name for uninquisitive obedient compliant people like you, but I guess you knew that. And what if, just what if the "conspiracies" are real? Remember the outrage when one man suggested the earth wasn't flat? But the evidence on the vaccines is easy to find....just bypass the msm.
BTW, no need to be so offended about the "45" segment of your name. No offense intended whatsoever.
I was not forced to take a jab and didn't do so without weighing up risks (again you make incorrect assumptions about me) ie.. the benefits outweighed the risks (No6 in the ethical codes written after the 45 Nuremburg Trials)

Yesterday they announced with much fanfare, a new groundbreaking vaccine in the war against Malaria particularly in Africa.... but I guess as it only helps something like 30% of cases and funding for research was from Mr & Mrs Gates, some would say its another human experiment...
Sorry to hear about your job btw

Not sure why he won't have a job is it like here a lot of companies are bringing out a no jab no work policy. Which a lot of people are arguing about but the fact remains companies will be liable in the future it's not that they want to bring this in.
I don't agree with this but again company's hands are tied in the world we live in.

Are you sailing under a ‘flag of convenience’ mate? What’s your home port and how longs your contract? They should by law fly you home.

I saw a guy jump overboard, (North Sea) I threw a belt for him…but never found him. Not nice, I hope you pull through mate. Good luck.

Here stateside in the "land of the free and home of the brave" you can't go in a store, restaurant or any public building in our largest and second largest cities (NY/LA) without papers showing you are vaccinated.

I seem to recall another country that required to all citizens to always have papers on them showing they were of "pure" blood".
