Have I said that?! Rhetorical it may be, however under that model that’s the gamble - it’s the same sort of attitude as the ‘nimby’s’ . Is that not the gamble football club owners have? I’m not advocating anything our owners have done , however you’re happy to say they should do this , that and t’other yet you wouldn’t do it with your own money- any suggestions?

Such as the other post going on holiday - well don’t let this bother you then , I would sacrifice 1 years’ holiday and £100 each year thereafter . If this club didn’t exist in town, we would lose our identity as a town and have very little - we have lost our identity on the pitch , let’s not lose our identity as a town

This business model would work with us if executed correctly and the right people in the right places. I for one would certainly head up something . It is as simple as this- If a situation isn’t right, you can either sit and moan about it, or do something about it

I know you mean well with your idea but a lot of the season ticket holders are children & OAP"s & family groups, there is a lot of financial pressure on many people in many walks of life & to ask say a a father who takes his two children to Oakwell to stump up £6000 & then on running contributions is frankly a none runner
