    Yeah, and his answer seems to be to stop playing and go long ball. Meaning they'll lose it and be right back on the defensive again. Bad season ahead for them

    I thought Martin Allen was in charge, but I maybe wrong?

    I had a feeling this was when kiwomya was in the caretakers role , but I could be mistaken as I am going by a very dodgy memory .....

    It was Martin Allen era. If my memory is correct it was after Allen had appealed to fans to get behind Karl Hawley a few weeks or so earlier (or maybe even that week) and he responded with two goals. The win moved us up from 9th to 6th and the play off zone in the 3rd tier. *sigh*

    Kiwomya got the job on the back of a televised victory over struggling Bury around 18 moths later.
