Right song but not Tony Christie although like you I thought it was. It was a band called Christie whose lead singer was the writer of the song, Jeff Christie, whose real name, unlike Tony Christie, is actually Christie

47 I Can't Stand the Rain - Tina Turner (but somebody else sang it, too, and I can't think who that was?)

Correct and 1/2 correct. As you say TT did sing it but it wasn't a hit (unless you count getting to #57 in the charts). Looking for a one (maybe 2) hit wonder UK disco band.

I looked it up to put myself out of misery! Somebody else will undoubtedly know. I didn't realise the TT version was so much later as well.

Come on, just 5 to get and the artist for 47.

    28. Wiggling and a-giggling Dancing and a-prancing (A double A side with a song that contains the classic line "Drops 'em for certain") (Is it a Honda 70 or a Honda 90?)
    37. We've all gone crazy Mourning all day and mourning all night (Antonio Banderas. Pah! TOWIE) (Billy Smarts perhaps?)
    39. When they first arrive the girls are pink and pasty (A summer hit about a hot place by a lady from a cold place) (Where you can meet senoritas by the score)
    41. I told you way back in Fifty-two That I would never go with you (This gentleman also had a hit with a playing card who made some tarts)
    50. And when I call you on that telephone My heart skips a beat if you're not at home (Do these pharmacists have a problem with their maths?) (It's the addition of two positive integers and the correct answer is two)
