You've a point there but I thought the premise regarding the reduced capacity was to reduce congestion on Don Street at the end of the match.
So why add 400 to the attendance when that 400 could be accommodated at a later game, after the bridge works finish and at a game when there will be fewer travelling fans than a club like Portsmouth?
Still didn't get a pint out of brin. 😒
Agree with a couple of posts above that pompey looked very good in the first half until we scored and again at the start of the second half. And yes, when they scored I feared the worst. Id like to agree that we were then rattled and swatted them away but looked more to me like we got lucky with their keeper making the mistake but brilliant improv from the big man. But great to see us build on that momentum and floor them. We've played just as well this season many times, but on this occasion we took the chances. What a brilliant 5 or so minutes!
Hoping the first half was mixture of us trying to find flow again after the break and pompey being very strong with pressing and passing and that we can keep the confidence up. We've got some great players at this level, let's enjoy them whilst they are here.
As someone said above, how did Rochdale keep Basil for so long and how the hell did we get him. Thank god we did, he's immense! When on song, don't think anyone can beat our mid three
Where's Monty by the way?
Admittedly we got lucky with their keeper dropping the ball raging, but they also got lucky with their leveller when Barlaser, who played really well btw, had a blonde moment and instead of knocking a simple ball back for viktor to clear, made a suicidal decision in totally the wrong areas, to try and trick their player but around 4 seconds after losing the ball it was in the back of our net, yes a brilliant finish, but we had started the 2nd half on the front foot and fine lines in games change them, fortunately their keepers clanger gave us the momentum back.
