I sit near the back of the West stand, near to the press, when the teams were taking the knee someone behind us was booing, very loud. A couple of people came and spoke to us about it at half time. The Steward went to the guy and mentioned the booing, the guy asked him what offence have i committed? None was his answer but the players could hear him booing.........ffs. Go away then, it's called free speech..........
A well respected millers supporter who sits with the press mentioned it to us that it was our Management team what reported it............free speech indeed.
Interesting that you are keen to defend this guy and his right to free speech. Will you also support the club if they decide he isn't the sort of customer they want and ban him from the ground which it would be their right to do ?

Maybe it’s time for those that boo to laugh at it instead, to see how empty and hilarious the gesture really is.

Or maybe just time to drop it completely?

If anything it’s made matters worse than before
How has it made it worse ? At the beginning of the season we had a larger contingent booing, they were still in the minority though. I didn't hear one person booing on Saturday which I thought was great.

In fairness if they had someone watching which I suspect they did they would have seen Vickers warming up so would have known all was not well anyway.

I’m more worried about people that think fans booing don’t belong in a stadium.

Where’s kick it out? I’ve not noticed them lately

I think it is more to do with booing your own players for having their own opinion on something that you don't agree with...... but you already knew that

Still operating and taking on staff, operations manager job is £40k pa. Their CEO is reported to be on double that.

Yet if anything football is more polarised and divided than it's ever been

A mate of mine who has West Indian origins is not happy how Black lives matter have had the power to influence the "establishment",he finds it insulting and embarrassing. seeing the knee being taken. We are not racist in this country but this movement imported from the USA is trying to create racial disruption. What should be happening is the very very very wealthy Californian owners of the social media companies should be be brought to task for allowing hatred to be shown. They can control this but they are now so powerful they determine what goes out or not.Politically this is very damaging globally.Recently much publicity was made of the England lads'missed penalties. The abuse they received via social media nearly all came from abroad but we were portrayed as a racist country.WE ARE NOT RACIST.Let's follow other clubs and stop taking the knee, our lads know there is no discrimination here. Finally how ironic that the SKY.BBC and ITV were glamorising NUFC for being taken by a state that has barbaric laws that can send a woman to a death penalty for the smallest offence.Do womens lives matter?
