Did you see that someone had hired a mobile billboard Bill.
It was driving round and round St J Park yesterday with a picture of the Saudi Prince and the murdered and dismembered journalist Khashoggi

I’d like to hear Johns take on this as he was in the crowd that day

The players taking the knee do it to make a point about racism. Nothing more. Everybody knows this.

Bearing this in mind, and whether you think it's a fatuous protest or not, it's incredible that anybody should think it's OK to boo loudly when they do it. Anybody who does this is somewhere on the scale between insensitive at best and openly racist at worst. Only the person doing it knows where, the rest of us have to make up our minds.

If the club decide they don't what this sort of person in the ground then that's fine by me.

    I wouldn’t know I wasn’t there
Definitely wouldn’t happen today and probably be plenty of boos and verbals

Redshank found the words I failed to. If those with the opposite view are genuine and not just fishing then I despair. Whether it’s ‘the right to be a racist’ or booing lest the players are promoting a militant movement from the US, grips need to be got.

Go and talk to them that boo, let them explain why and then you explain your views to them

Someone did try and do this on twitter with one of our players well ex player now

    That's over analysing it.

Basically the knee taking developed quickly into a sheep like activity. When the real background to it was revealed it had become too late to back out of doing it.

The whole gesture is now looking jaded to the point of hilarity.
