Whilst it looks the business reliability is not a key feature of the Range Rover. Consistently features as one of the worst cars for reliability; especially after the warranty expires. Money pits!
I’m biased……if you gave me one I’d sell it!

    Don’t listen to him.

I’ve seen his house in Harrogate......it’s worth almost double what mine is and he shares his street with Premier League footballers and the famous!

He might dress like a tramp but it’s a ruse so that he doesn’t get mugged.......this bloke is the wealthiest person on this site I’ll wager.

I don’t drive Range Rover due to the unreliability as pointed out by Pugmitch and the fact they’re a bit “sit up and beg” for my tastes.

My missus has a three year old Evoque and she loves it but it’s had to go in a few times due to problems with the central locking.

Solid, smooth cars but they don’t set my pulse racing.

I’ve had BMW X5’s for years now Lloyd.

I had my last one ( hybrid ) for nearly 5 years without a single issue.

I’ve had my present longer range hybrid for 9 months without an issue.

I’ve had five in total and an X6 and not had a single breakdown or mechanical issue.

I find BMW to be almost flawless.

I also get a very good deal from their Solihull branch as I’ve been with them for so long abs I usually get 10% or more off list price.

I won’t change from BMW now for my main car.

I occasionally treat myself to a stupid “toy” and I had a BMW i8 electric hybrid when they first came out, again, flawless.

Most fun were the three Audi R8’s I owned though.......the one I had a couple of years ago was the 5.2 litre, it drove like the wind.

Stupid cars and stupid money though and in reality just a bloody silly ego trip.

Despite all of the above my favourite ever car was my 1973 Ford Capri 1600GT in Sebring red and my company car from 93, one of the first Ford Mondeos on the road, it was a superb car to drive even with a 1600cc engine.

I foolishly turned down the chance to buy this exact replacement of my Capri last year.

Hi not knocking them ,MIck I just think Uk cars get an unfair rap.
My mate treated our James a surprise ride in his Audi r8 convertable Black edition , made his day.
I'm having a new front wall built and the old bricklayer ,who I'd never met even though he lives just up the rd.
We was talking about cars and he told me he had treated his self to a Red Ferrari , so Ive got another supercar ride for James

Hi, all cars are now over engineered with electronics, great when everything is working.
When I look back at my ist car a 1956 Moggie minor for £10 ( 2 weeks wages).
Got it from Halesowen the old chap who sold it me said there was no battery.
We jumped started it of his car and I dove it home with no battery, which you could with the old dynamo.

Bit nerve racking, you couldn't stall it.
Leant a lot on the car, fitting new clutch etc.

I drive an X5 and amazingly reliable like my previous BMWs. Wife has an old 5 series that has done 175K miles and breezes through the MOT every year!

The X5 is such a good car.

The latest hybrid does 50 miles on pure electric and rarely needs fuel.

If you haven’t had one I’d highly recommend this new generation next time around.
