The very worst character traits you can possibly have as far as I'm concerned Chop .

Blaming young lads in the media for mistakes rather than looking at himself .

When it kicks off on the touchline and everyone of our players comes to defend one of the coaching staff I expect our HC to be in the middle of it , not stood 10 yards away with his arms folded looking on passively .

Clueless selections , players out of position and clueless tactics .

Made absolutely no effort to connect with the club , town or it's fans .

Absolutely no passion or drive what so ever stood in the technical area .

Destroyed two seasons hard championship graft in a matter of weeks , some fecking hard work was put in here by a good number of people to not only keep us in the championship but claim 5th spot last season .

I have very little time , patience or good will to offer anyone who I don't respect and I don't suffer fools gladly .

He’s been given a terrible hand by the owners - and they know this - hence the reason he’s lasted so long.

Schopp didnt just suddenly become a poor manager when he walked through the door at Oakwell.
But trying to lift the players after the back room staff had been stripped from the club has been a bridge too far for him.
The confidence of the players has been steadily drained away.
So I think it’s good for all concerned that he’s left the club.
I wish him well and hope he does well in the future.
He’s been given a better hand than most BFC managers I can remember in my nearly 40 years of watching us. He has played players out of position constantly , had no pecking order with players and persists in playing a system that clearly doesn’t work and that we only stopped up by default on a few seasons ago.

I’m no fan of the owners but there wasn’t much call for their heads last year when things were right on the results front, the results last year papered over some gaping gaps and concerns we had about them, schopps results have just magnified what most fans were likely thinking and concerned about

I’ve said it before and will say it again, VI would not have had us where we are - we would be at least mid table

Well if its true then Im sure they will officially announce it tomorrow.
And as much as I might want to, I can't say that Im disappointed to hear this news and I can't say that I feel sorry for him either.

Heres what could be his final words of wisdom after yesterdays match...

" Today I think the better team lost, we gave the game away in five minutes in the end of the first half and you see that we are struggling with this bit of experience right now. You can't give away a 1-0 lead where you were dominating the game so easily. This is definitely a hard one.
We are talking about individual mistakes in situations where you can't lose balls without pressure, without a situation where I think the other team was happy to get into half-time to resettle. We gave these goals away so easy, this is definitely something that shouldn't happen.
But in the end I have to say it was a 50 minutes where I saw a Barnsley team that did everything - created so many chances - and this is where for me we are almost there, we are almost there. The team has to understand that we have to do this for 95 minutes and not only for 88 like we did today. "

Hes not naming names there but I wonder is he picking faults once again with individuals, and the inexperienced ones especially ?.
Yes of course we need to do that sort of thing for the full 90 minutes rather than the 50 minutes he mentioned, and we need to stop giving goals away in those situations, that goes without saying.
I will ask again were we the better team and unlucky to lose, or is he mistaken again ?.

Also the little matter of the owners telling him that he cannot use the successful tactics that got the club into 5th last season.
Which I’ve never come across ever before in all my life of watching football.

All in all he’s been dealt a.very poor hand.
And any potential manager is going to look at all these factors.
So under the current circumstances which manager worth his salt would touch Barnsley with a barge pole ???

His position was untenable when Callum Brittain spoke out following the Millwall game about the training or lack of it .

There's also a significant reason why we are getting all these so called training ground injuries !!!!!!!!

No fecker wanted to play for him .

We fecking didn't have em last season when the lads ran through brick walls for Val and for Struber the season before .

Only Morris and Ben Williams have suffered injuries on the pitch as far as I know .

Everyone else ......... Well you tell me ??

I wouldn't have wanted to play for this fecking clown either for what it's worth .

Has he been sacked or has he walked ?

Could be in for another fudge style Statement as with Stendel and a Conway legal battle over compensation

To be honest if they don't pay him up whether they are legally obliged to do so wouldn't bother me .

He deserves nowt , zilch .

    He's done a shyte job .

A bit hypocritical on my part I'll accept but this clown would be paying for his own air ticket back to Austria tonight .

    Thankfully it's a one way ticket .
