Their goal took a deflection off Woody before arrowing into the corner, Vickers had no chance. Weekend it felt soft but no chance with this one.

Decent ref and we win this game easy, Smudge booked, so misses next game even though it wasn’t a foul
    Smudge knows what he's doing

Yep. We could have easily lost that one in the end. We seemed to lose our discipline and shape second half. A few off their games eg Smith, Wiles.

    MOMs Barlaser, Vickers

Settle for a point in the end though.

We weren't at our best but we were playing a side with confidence and just before they scored we were getting on top looking for that second goal.It is a well earned away point and once again the midfield was good with Wiles outstanding again.Freddie was lively up front with Smith. All in all I'm happy with the point. We move up to 3rd. and well done to the 370 odd who went down there, not the easiest place to get to.UTM

    Just on way back.
Not sure what game some have been watching we got battered second half?????
We can’t play well or hammer teams every week.

We had chances so did they.
A point a fair result in the end. Ogbene wakened the team when he came on,
    Ferguson with a terrible miss.
Play the fringe players Saturday we look jaded.

They had 3 booked & we had 4. Does Smith miss the Cup game or does the one game ban only apply to league games??

Anyway, a good point against a team who are on the up after a wretched start.

Ironically some of their fans are blaming the ref for them not winning. Like us they seem generally happy with a point though.

mmmm,.....very lucky to finish with 11 players. Under the cosh most of the 2nd half, only 1 chance with Fergie blasted over on his wrong foot. Think we very nearly as bad as wycombe, Vickers was taking the pyss 2nd half.

Good point looking back, it could have ended in tears. We never got going properly all match, especially 2nd half. Did Stockly foul Reg or wasn't Reg strong enough?? He then got lucky with slight deflection off Woods, but that's footie......UTM.

Guess it's a good point in the end. Charlton and their fans were well up for it and deserved at least a point. For once our midfield were out gunned at times as they broke through us and eventually it paid off. Credit to their fans. They were relentless and kept the support for their team and pressure on the ref going throughout.

Have to look on it as a good point gained against a team that played well above their position and responding to great support on the night. But obv gutting to concede near the end. Reg played well but was it him who could have been stronger in challenging their goal? Hard to tell in the away end but looked weak to me, but might be being harsh.

    Where's me pint gm?

Not the best game, a point I’ll take because they were far better in 2nd half
Rathbone needed to be subbed imo but taking Icky off was best thing to do

    Ref was ****e

    Now 3rd

Smith will either miss Shrews away (if it gets played) or Cambridge at home
