Well, after a 3 game reprieve the 'last 10 minutes anxiety' was back again tonight watching the Google score app. sit at 1-1 as the minutes ticked by from 90, 90+1, 90+2...etc. but for once there was no last minute heartbreak and a well fought out draw/1pt it is. If my memory serves me right, the last twice in League 1, early November has served as the doldrums for Millers with us eventually picking up and kicking on for promotion. If we do that this time around then they may as well promote us now and we'll replace Barnsley in the Championship but as all of us who have followed RUFC for 50+ years know that's never how our scripts are written.

How the f**k did we get anything out of that? Full credit to charlton they absolutely battered us 2nd half with the irony that we were having our best spell when they levelled. I thought it was a foul on reg when they scored but he also has to do better, a really good point against a team that on that showing should soon be climbing the table and look like they are the type to go on a good run.

On balance a fair point. Totally inept ref, both ways. We benefitted from him bottling Icky's second yellow and them from a slight nudge on Edmunds Green before their equaliser. Just useless rather than dodgy. Their league position doesn't reflect their ability, no idea why they are down there but hey ho. 10 unbeaten in the league, up a spot to 3rd, onto the cup! UTM!

A point, moved up a place so can't really grumble but I'm going to.

I didn't like all the theatricals we played tonight, christ at times I thought we were Wycombe. Come on we're better than that so who's brought this into our game plan?

We played well first half in a changed side and fairly enough lead at half time from a well taken goal from Miller. We knew we would be under the cosh second half and Charlton to be fair battered us, no complaints over that. Their goal, was it blocked for Vickers to see? I hope so because that was a long range shot he's been done by two games on the trot now.

We huffed and puffed second half and chances were there for the taking, Freddie's point blank header and Ferguson's last minute gaff but overall I suppose the draw was a fair result. We didn't lose, we're still in the thick of it at the right end of the table so onwards and upwards....UTM!

Both teams got what they deserved and a draw was a fair result.in hope we could have ground it out,but main thing is if you can’t win then make sure you don’t lose.we looked abit off it tonight but we were probably due it.not quite as polished as recently and gave some silly fouls away which gave them momentum at crucial times.overall I am fairly happy with a point.it seamt abit like the Crewe getting pegged back late on so I hope we go on a run like we did after that game now.!.
