    Old programmes !!!!

Apparrently on Antiques Roadshow last night was a pair of Aston Villa v Millers league cup final programmes home and away in good condition valued at £800. Anybody on here with a pair? or do you own any you think is worth a bob or 2. never really been a programme collector but ive got a Spurs v Millers fa cup tie programme which is probably worth a few quid.

I guess he was there to get his collection of wins whilst in charge of RUFC valued but everyone realised he'd turned up empty handed

Must have a load of them somewhere in the loft, mostly 60s and 70s. Won't be worth anything 'cos I used to scribble on them - team changes, goalscorers, etc. Still, you've almost persuaded me to go up there and seek them out. You never know.

Was that when we lost 5 or 6 nil? Went to that game at WHL.. sat in the gods of the main stand about 3/4 of a mile from the pitch...

I went to White Hart Lane for our cup game in '72 and I've still got the ticket somewhere. I used to have the programme also but I gave that away years ago. The game remains embedded in my memory as one of my worst experiences of watching the Millers up and down the country. After our 2-0 loss the Spurs "fans" kindly smashed every one of our coach windows and it was a very scary experience as the two policemen struggled to stop their "fans" from getting onto our coach to fight. It was a very cold journey back to Rotherham. I've often wondered what would've happened if we'd actually won that game. I shudder to think ......

I've got a programme from when we played S****horpe in the FA Cup and became the first ever club to win a penalty shoot out.
Doubt if it's worth anything but I've kept it just in case 🙂
