I always think this Balan regarding the numerous Cancer charities. Why on earth should we have to resort to begging bowls, tin-rattling, Christmas card sales, charity shop proceeds and lottery tickets to finance the prevention, treatment, care and after-effects of cancer, just wtf is the government doing with our money when fund raising on such a scale is necessary ?

I agree BT. It is a sick society where men and women are sent by the Government to risk life and limb for a cause they may not understand or agree with. Then afterwards, with PTSD, limbs lost they are abandoned to charity. It is a national disgrace.
