Not sure why there hasn’t been one yet, here’s mine.

Patterson - very solid performance, great distribution until it isn’t- 8
Kelly-Evans - got a lot of stick but didn’t back down an inch - 7.5
Taylor - excellent game with a great cross for the goal - works very hard - 8
Lacey - good to see him back, very calm with good positional sense - 7
Chicksen - good on the ball but seems to lose his position at times - 7
Brindley - always available with good distribution- 8
Palmer - what a great find, breaks up the opposition play and always looking for the right pass - my MOTM - 9
Vincent - buzzes around effectively- should have scored though - 8
Roberts - good pass leading to the goal, decent display on the left but it would be good to have the old Cal back - 7
Rodrigues - I hope we can keep this guy as he ties up two of the opposition for 90 minutes - 8.5
Wootton - Leads the line well, scored a good goal and worked his socks off - 8.5

    Subs
Rawlinson - did what it says on the tin - 7
Mitchell - good to see him get a goal and lift the pressure - 7
    Francis - n/a

Great team performance in front of a big crowd when we usually fail to deliver but not today COYP

Can't disagree with any of the above
    Spot on

Probably a bit generous in parts. Aside from the pass Roberts is still not half the player and a passenger for large parts of the game. Poor Taylor did really well without much support in his side from Roberts. 6

And Chicksen was a bit disappointing regularly not seeing the best option, and lost his man for their best chance. 6

Agree on the others. Thought Taylor was mom though.

    Very very solid team performance.

Patterson 7 - Not a great deal to stop, but great on crosses and with his feet as usual. IB/MD must be so happy with that
Kelly-Evans 6 - Solid enough. I'm only looking for good play. The other stuff is a positive for many, a negative for me.
Brindley 8 - my MoM, just gets better and better at that role
Lacey 7 - looked like he'd never been out
Chicksen 6 - such a good defender, but has to use the ball and space better
Taylor 8 - We're lucky to have him. Gives a lesson in wing-back play when he's on his game
Palmer 7 - Super consistent. Seems like you can pencil him in for a good game
Vincent 6 - Great level of activity but quite a few things didn't come off for him
Roberts 7 - looked like Gordon Cowans out there in that role. What a peach of a left foot though
Rodrigues 7 - like a pit viper for the opposition when he turns or just receives it in their half, you can smell the panic
Wootton 7 - Exactly what Forwardmagpie said. Keep that up and Notts are in business this season

    Subs
Rawlinson 7 - Pity about that moment. I'd back him to put it out of his mind. Led the defence to hold them off
Mitchell 8 - What more can you ask from a 10min cameo?
    Francis N/A

    Another fantastic team display.
MOM for me was Wootton. Up against two massive defenders but held the line amazingly well and the ball stuck to him. And, of course, got his goal.

Lots of good performances and contenders for MOTM, agree largely with the OP. Thought we were good value for the two-goal margin of victory against a strong side (based on their results this far), who we made look very ordinary.

Patterson - 7 - Has really improved from his early showings. Massively assured in all aspects and his calmness and distribution is way above this level.

Brindley- 7 - Along with Palmer, our most consistent player this season. Rarely puts a foot wrong and is crucial to the way we play due to his ability to bring the ball out quickly (compared to their 3 giant, rigid CBs, for example).

Lacey - 7 - Can’t remember any mistakes, his usual assured self. Was he injured?

Chicksen - 7 - Disagree with a couple of the comments above - thought he was excellent. Wins more headers than you’d expect for his size and very calm in possession. Think he’s under-rated generally in that position.

Kelly-Evans - 7.5 - Clearly targeted, particularly after the break, but never gives an inch. The sort of guy you always want on your team IMO. Feared he’d pick-up a soft second yellow but kept his head.

Vincent - 7 - Tireless running and really unlucky with first half shot which came back off the inside of the post. Should’ve scored with 2nd half chance that went over but keeps getting in the positions; could end the season in double figures if he continues to play regularly.

Palmer - 8 - Holds it all together. A one-man midfield at times. Player of the Season by a mile IMO.

Roberts - 7 - Some lovely touches and was integral to creating the all-important first goal. Still does look a little lost/wasted at CM at times, and would like to see him pushed slightly forward and Ruben slightly deeper one game in dual roles behind Wootton.

Taylor - 8 - Outstanding. Brilliant assist for the goal and was a constant threat all game, while not giving an inch defensively.

Rodrigues- 7.5 - Constantly creating and manages to generate space others without such ability simply can’t (see their #10, who spent the entire game whining to the ref, for example). Think he’s gone in January - hard to find a weakness in him currently.

Wootton - 8.5* - Just shaded MOTM for me, a real captain’s performance. A colossus in both boxes and fully deserved his goal. There are better goal scorers in this league but I don’t think anyone would be able to replicate the overall service he gives the team.

Rawlinson - 7 - Solid, despite not being 100%. Comfortably dealt with the giant when he came on.

Mitchell - 7 - Great to see him on the scoresheet. Can see the ability he’s got. Typically positive change from IB to bring on an additional CF when 1-0 up, and it paid off.

Don’t think Rawlinson dealt with the big fella especially at set pieces that seem to fall to Wootton and whoever the 2nd ball went to.

Patterson 7-didn't have too much to do but was solid on crosses and with the ball at his feet

Brindley 7.5- Consistent performer that has made that position his now. Comfortable on the ball and made a couple of key headers in the penalty area

Lacey 7- Slotted back in well, better on the ball than Rawlinson hence his selection

Chicksen 6.5- Defended well and comfortable on the ball but did give it away occasionally. Best option on the left side of a 3

DKE 6.5- works hard and puts the miles but no need for the one man wrecking ball approach. RWB is the 1 position we could seriously improve on with good recruitment

Taylor 8.5- Equally good defending as he is going forwards and awesome assist for the important first goal. Like having 2 players in 1, better overall player than Miller imo

Vincent 7- busy and linked the play well, should have got himself a couple of goals. Thought his work rate was much improved 2nd half

Palmer 8- I've not seen a player break up attacks so easily in a Notts shirt in a long time. Breaking up play is ***** to this team alone but the quality he has on the ball is added bonus. Probably now Notts best and most important player

Roberts 6.5- better from him but he's still miles off his top level. Ball through for the first goal was sublime but it could be a while before we see him back to his best.

Rodrigues 7.5- held up the ball well, linked the play and work rate exceptional as always. Looks like a player playing below the level he should be. Should have scored a header in the 2nd half

Wotton- 8.5- I've been quite critical of his finishing at times but not today, he buried that chance for the first goal. Held the ball up well and crucial for defending set pieces. Bullied the 7 foot giant that came off the bench for Solihull.

    Subs

Rawlinson 5- he can't play the role he is being asked too. We play too quick and you have to be comfortable with the ball at your feet. Time to move him on and bring better in

Mitchell 7.5- Showed some nice touches and took his goal really well, could be a slow burner but I think there's a decent player there.

Manager- 9- best manager we've had since Cotterill-hope the owners continue to back him!
