A couple of my Forest mates went and loved it, a few others have commented "Well done Notts" etc. The ones commenting online have probably been to the City Ground once in the last 10 years. Just virgins looking for attention (and getting it).

Doesn't matter what the make up the crowd was or how much tickets were, the fact is we got 12,000 people off their arses to watch 5th division football and that's great.

I suspect there were a great many so called Notts fans who crossed the river to go watch the reds circa 1959 and again in 1977-80, rarely to return if ever. We could be talking thousands.

I used to really dislike Forest when I was younger mainly due to the Mickey take I suffered at the hands of their fans, but has I have got older I take it with a pinch of salt. Mind you I still like to see them lose.

Talking of folk looking for attention, do any of you look at the FB national league posts ?
There are 2 so called Torquay fans who are totally obsessed with Notts and constantly berating the club. One is a friend of a friend in the know and one is supposedly a multi millionaire 🤣
Personally I wish our fans would totally ignore their posts and stop stroking their very little egos.

Same. I've found over the years that the ones who actually go to the games don't do it nearly as much, as they know what it's like to support a team week in, week out. It's the armchair majority, that never go to matches, who give it the tiresome stuff.

My wife went to a girl friends party the other night. There was a male stripper on, she nearly had a stroke. Unfortunately she couldn't quite reach.

There currently isn't a club with the ground capacity in the NL that can beat our 12800 odd record.
