Unfortunately for you, its very easy to go back to my original post, and see that I made no reference to Remembrance day, that was you and only you.

As for the bin men discussion, rA merely repeated what the local council had said was the reason for it, so how he could accept that he was factually wrong (he wasn't anyway because Brexit certainly is a factor) is a bit strange. But then thats you, spout a view based on your own narrow perception of the world, disappear when called out, then sneak back once you've thought about how to respond.

The phrase stop digging comes to mind here, but like TTR, you don't seem to realise that some of your posts do make you luck rather silly. Still its amusing if nothing else.
    luck rather silly?

    That's fortunate, or unfortunate then?

To use the current in phrase, you’ve arrived at this a day later and a Dollar short. rA didn’t ‘merely repeat’ what the local council said, he put a spin on it (in fact he put two). I know rA is good at going back through old posts so I’m sure he now realises this, whether he admits it or not. It’s not a big deal to me but it is a fact - what is a big deal is that roles appear to have reversed and you’ve become rAs rear gunner. How the mighty have fallen

Andy, as mod you should be able to check this. Are rA and Swale two online identities of the same user? It's unnatural that the two should have so many identical opinions on everything. The mutual paratropism is intense.

Ah...the old divide and rule tactic. How the mighty - a once respected moderator - have fallen indeed.
For the record...Swale and I see eye to eye on many of the more grown up topics on here. We have also had a fair few ‘fall outs’, particularly, if memory serves, over more DCFC related matters such as McClaren, Lampard and CKR.
We support each other at times and we disagree at others. So what? I also invariably agree with other posters such as MA and mac, in the same way as you, GP and, to a lesser extent, TTR often manifest themselves as the ‘Three Brexiteers’, and yet the tedious and frankly meaningless ‘rear gunner’ taunt seems reserved for Swale and I. Water off a duck’s back to me, and I imagine Swale too...but if it helps you feel better...so be it.

As for looking back through old posts, I did so at the weekend with regard to very recent posts. I’ve got so many better things to do than dredge back through stuff that, again if memory serves, was posted last August.
Swale is correct though...I did quote my local council and I did actually privately send both you and GP/RR copies of the document concerned at which point you conceded that you’d been looking at a different script.

None of this actually matters one jot. It all just falls into the slightly sad and juvenile world of forum politics and bitchiness. The fact is that Brexit has had an impact on the availability of HGV drivers in this country as it has on many other areas of the economy. There are other factors, of which the pandemic is the most significant, but if we’re going to discuss this further maybe we should take it back to the Brexit thread where it belongs and return to behaving like adults.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'll keep to the higher ground/thousand yard stare/steely eyed missile man side of things, its for the likes of Swale to delve deep into such conspiracy theories as in his pursuit of the 'fake' Rattea

So are you now admitting that you were wrong to refer to Remembrance in my post or are you as usual just waffling away to hide your acute embarrassment at being caught out?

    Just wondering

Blimey! I realised your view of reality is often skewed by your own narrow perception on life, but now your begining sound a little deluded!

Higher ground? Lately you ahve been disappearing underground in the holes you keep digging!

I'm not or ever have been "in pursuit" of the fake Rattea, that is yet another example of your own preconceived perceptions changing reality, however I do know the post that reveals the use of his name to be fake, which clearly you don't!

Plus having "enjoyed" the pleasure of interacting with him when he was a Mod, I know his style! At least as a Mod your nowhere near as big arsehole as he was, so some positives there.

Have you actually read our respective posts? I think you will find that we have many differences of opinion!

Are you really as dim as you seem to be or is it just an act?
