Premier League makes extra funding available for NL

Not a lot but it all helps...

"National League clubs will be allocated £2m of the new funds this season. The league's board have decided 50% will be given to clubs in the National League and the other half to National League North and South sides.

The remaining £3m will be distributed over the next three seasons."

We get a Kyle W. pic and another mention for our crowd record too.

Wonder if the £1m will be distributed more fairly than the Covid grant funds?

Unless Cheaterfield can make a special case, and get more than their fair share

We never found out who was lying about that. I believe the DCMS has refused Freedom of Info requests.

    If I was a betting man…

I'm sure the Premiership will trumpet this deal as a way they care about lower league football. The reality is that what we get (about 43.5k) would pay the salary of one of their top players for a week at best.

Some of them are on that per day (£300,000 per week)
