It's interesting. All the reports say we weren't pressed, they allowed our defenders to have it but marked up and denied space to all our midfield/forwards. Recently that hasn't been the case, Rochdale for example pressed very high in both games.

Sounds like Brindley, Rawlinson and Chicksen didn't charge forward enough and commit players, or play it long as you say. Useless possession, fiddling about at the back while Rome burns. Was that what it was like anybody who was there?
IB can't allow us to go down as easily as that...he should have risked Cameron or gone with a 2 at the back with either Brinds or Chicks. Very glad I wasn't there.

Our style of football is useless against teams that play hoof ball. Eastliegh played with plenty of players in our half and kept hitting long balls into our area, and we just couldnt find the space to play out... Burcnall should have changed the tacticts at half time,

The answer is we probably would have
As for the chances they occured, especially rooney,s you may choose to ignore them, and pretend we were fantastic, i just advised caution going into future matches, and it proved to be well founded as the brilliant IB came unstuck today when things did not run for him on the day
That's rubbish that everything went for us and that is why we won.

You keep on about Rooney, what about the times we hit the post, RR header and the follow up? Perhaps you can remind us of the other chances they had?

We were the best team on the day and worthy winners.

Yesterday we weren't, and worthy losers.

Just listened to Ardley's interview. He did say they had three good chances, but he also said we were the better team on the day.

It was grim having to travel and watch it..We desperately need a new keeper and a decent goal poacher.
