Les Bradd did say, (on one of Mace-Ache's podcasts), that the Bros had suggested to him that they did have money to spend on the squad if needs be. Whether they will or whether they won't is a different story.

IBs said the opposite b4 that we want our own players to develop which has been backed up in the fact when we only got a couple of loans to cover Slocombe and how bad the CBS injuries count was.

I totally believe having a smaller squad is better as it means all the players are engaged with a genuine chance of playing, that was the opposite in the relegation season.

While it's not a bad result in isolation, I find it hard to celebrate getting a point at a team that attracts 821 supporters to one of their bigger games of the season. Anyone seeing this as a good result must have very low expectations.

    Not really.
It's a bad result because we threw away a lead again !!
There's no ruthlessness, killer instinct in this team it seems.

The best barometer is the league table, they say.
The only thing matters is results, they say.
Form is a great guide, they say.

Until it doesn't suit their narrative and then all of a sudden attendances and number of season ticket sold become mysterious more relevant when judging a match result#vivaNCM

Of course I wish football was judged on size of crowds and stadium capacities then we would be nailed on for Top 2 this season.

I'm sure the likes of Sunderland, Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday and Bradford do too. I'm afraid football doesn't work like.

A draw away at the 2nd placed team who are unsurprisingly in good form is a decent result. Regardless of whether there is 800 or 8000 in attendance.
