A panoramic view of boring wood

Match night is here and The 'Generally-stylish-with-the-odd-crap-performance-thrown-in-to-keep-us-on-our-toes' Magpies head down the M1 to that hallowed temple of Association Football, Boreham Wood.

Can Burchnall's Buccaneers bring home the bacon and banish the blues with all three points? Will the lads react vigorously to their tepid defeat against The Spitfires? Will Roberts finally burst the onion bag and get that pesky monkey off his back?

All these questions, and more, will be answered by the end of the evening. Team news is expected around 6.45pm.

Online BBC Radio Nottingham commentary from that evergreen music hall duo 'Cheeky Charlie and The Stark Mallard' is available here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/59222940 or you can probably tune that cat's whisker in and listen on the wireless. Our overseas brethren may be unable to tune in but can keep up with things on the club's various 'social media', whatever they may be. Or you could try Nottingham Hospitals Radio online here: https://nhradio.org.uk/ perhaps?

    Thanks Swale.

Brooks on the bench. We must be short on numbers

Maybe. Seems to be a bit of sickness in the camp of late. At least 'T. Lady' doesn't appear on the team sheet just yet

Not yet, although I'm sure the lads on the bench wouldn't mind a cuppa to keep them warm tonight

    Good looking team.
We've got to get a settled back line...centre-backs should be durable.
They'll bounce back and put in a better performance than Saturday but it's a very tough opponent - hard to call.

Maybe Slocombes had a slight reaction to his previous injury and their playing it safe, sounded like most of the squad was fit.

Perhaps he had a slight reaction to trying to catch a cross.
