Although they're very different players if I were looking to replace Diangana with an academy player it would be with Tulloch.

However, as he's only just returned from injury for the U23s and needs to rebuild his match fitness I'd have no qualms about starting Fellows.

Very direct, technically sound and he's got a good football brain. An effective and intelligent young footballer.

Really misses Pereira's vision and through balls. He needs to show his own balls now by taking games by the scruff of the neck.

The ability is still there. We know he can do it, he just needs to remember how. When (if) he does he will be an asset once again.

    Diangana,
Looking more like a nearly man as they say.
A dozen decent performances ( whist the team were in good form ) in three seasons is not a great return is it.
No fight, too lightweight, and I don’t think he is a team player; it’s all about recognition for himself. Saturday was another example, has to try the impossible, and then loosing possession for the team. One and goal and 1 assist I think this season.
Having said that his best work is when he is on the left.

Fellows, yes i've been told he is doing well

It has to be in our interest to give the bright academy lads a chance. We have underperformers up top and limited money to spend, so why not just play them and see what they can do. They can't be worse than what we currently have. You get a talented kid come through and they can just change your season and bring some value to the side. It also gives the rest a lift in knowing they're at a club that might just give them a shot.

Norwich are a similar club to us and they're streets ahead of us in giving their academy a chance and it's seriously paid off for them.
