Thread: Match off

  1. #11
Identical situation with Leicester City, but the EPL refuse the Foxes request to postpone.

It really is true - "No-one likes us"!

I'm bewildered that any one can justify this nonsense. The game is rotten to the core with corruption and money more important than mere football fans. I'd travelled to Burnley from Bolton after picking my son up in Accrington and found out at 5.15pm the game was off. Something stinks about this call to postpone when Leicester have to play today with identical circumstances to Watford. I'm more than a hundred quid out of pocket and the EPL don't give a flying f*ck.

I agree army88 they should have been ordered to play, if which I very much doubt it is Covid they should be heavily fined as it is the Clubs responsibility to make sure all players and staff do their utmost to protect themselves.

The Hornets played the Covid Card because they had EIGHT players injured and did not want to field a weakened team in a relegation six pointer.

No idea why the EPL fell for such a load of old bollox. Oh! hang on it's only Burnley!
