Hammond used to work as Technical Director at West Brom – we suffered relegation to the Championship with him at the Hawthorns.

He was responsible for hiring Alan Pardew, who was a complete and utter joke!

Hammond also spent £15m on Oliver Burke, who scored one goal for us in 24 appearances and must rank as the equivalent to a complete donkey on Blackpool beach!

I really hope you guys stay up but we didn’t want Howe either at West Brom when touted for the job as he was considered uninspiring. Think you would have done better with Wilder but hey you never know.

As for us we have a poor poor squad and even now could do with Gayle back if he were to be fit and injury free but that would be unlikely!

oh, bugger.

Hadn't really looked into who he was too much. Just really thought about the need for an appointment and thought someone on an interim basis to help us through January was a good plan.

Interim I think he'll be alright.

I strong suspect he's got it because he knows Howe and has worked with him before (at Burnley).

Not convinced he'll be the full time man.
