    Indeed it was until Edward Jenner studied it and guess what.........started off the first attempts of a vaccine, resulting in almost complete eradication of the disease

    For a long period smallpox carried on killing unvaccinated people. The smallpox virus let its host live long enough to give successful transmission. Killing quickly isn’t a good “ plan” for a virus

    ...cheers Grist. This virus would make a good weapon if they could manufactor it to kill after a month, and be highly contagious.....
