I agree but like before the ‘Hand Bags’ thread it clogs the top of the board from genuine Notts football content and people believe there maybe something of Notts related being posted in the thread and while agenda stuff is being unnecessarily posted to keep it at the top it just keeps being there.

It would be interesting to know in stats now there is the ‘Hand Bags’ thread if the views in there have now decreased because it’s out the way? There’s a place for this thread but not in the mainstream part (IMO)

Already 65 patients in hospital so far, 1 death in the UK, which doesn't sound many, but the first case was only identified here 3 weeks ago.

There's currently no evidence that Omicron is a milder infection than Delta, that's from a new study released yesterday by Imperial College London.

In all honesty, I expect it will be pretty bad here, not because of Omicron per se but because we are such a desperately unhealthy pilled up and p***ed up nation. I think we are now about to discover that the British public and the NHS literally cannot cope with a cold. It's that pathetic.

To be open, unless FootyMad demands the removal of any public health misinformation/disinformation it is a difficult call for a mere moderator to make, regardless of my personal opinions. If they did give guidance I'd hope they took action themselves rather than passing the responsibility on to unpaid volunteers.

UTM has a great Notts website which we all admire and has been a valued contributor on here for donkeys' years. If I was to ban him just for stating his opinions I think that would make me a censor, rather than a moderator, and that's not how I interpret the role.
