He was shown up today by the grit and determination of those round about him. At times I forget he is even on the pitch. If we don’t improve on the striker front come January. That will be the difference between top and bottom 6 finish.

The young lads did well today and I hope that they have given the rest of the team a wee kick up the erchie that we have hungry young players ready to take their place if their standards drop. Out of all the games to get a covid outbreak...now is a decent time. Hopefully we come out the christmas period with some rested players ready to go for the derby!

Proud of the team today tho, sh*t place to go at the best of times. At least we didn't lie down and take it like the Celic' match.
I have to disagree. Nobody got near Shankland to support last year. We went many games without a ball coming near the box. Shankland could at least hold his own and hold the ball. Clark has a lack of pace, strength, height and to be honest he wastes his energy running after a team playing a ball across the back line but when we have the ball he doesnt run anywhere and when he gets it into his feet he trips up or plays a bad touch. He is no where near it just now. Even some big lump like Jordan White id bite your hand off for right now.

We are getting crosses in the box and balls into Clark but his movement, touch and strength makes it look like we arent because he is just no where near the required standard just now.

Plenty of positives to take from that, young guys passed and pressed well. Felt the goal was coming, as some of youngsters started to tire, penalty I think is just a bit unlucky tbh, balls almost behind Mcmann. They allowed us a little chance last 10, but we just don’t have fire power up front to punish them (or anyone at moment it seems). Kids did well.

Hmmm , point taken you don't like Clark To be fair though, the supply (as per mentioned) was minimal. There were occasional balls badly fed in to the box for Shanks, just pure rubbish ones. A wee bit like this season. There is the perfect ba' in, and a good ba' in. It is up to the individual player to make the most of both.

Not sure when Clark turned in to Derren Brown tho making balls that went in to the box look like they didn't, that is some achievement. Obviously in the wrong trade methinks.

Id just like to say the young lads were excellent today too. Particularly the midfield 3 with how disciplined they were and brave on the ball. Id like to see alot more of Meekison.

Looking at the BBC ratings this is the first time in a long time that I can remember an outfield player getting player of the match. It's been Siegrist for weeks now. Shows you how well the boys did today compared to recent weeks.

    Hahaha

Mate the thing is I think Clark does have something to offer but as an impact sub and that is mostly it. I may be being a bit harsh but im just finding it so frustrating watching him every week dish out these types of performances. I didnt get that feeling watching Shankland, i felt sorry for him as we created nothing for him.
