this season is a pure uphill task

this season is truly what we are accustomed to, get good news and it gets kicked out from underneath us.

We started the season with the fat man and his cabbage head running the show, destined for relegation.
We finally get the takeover with unbelievable funds.
Our league position has us in dire need of points but the players have deteriorated drastically under Bruce and Ashley.
The PL are throwing spanners in the works for our sponsorship deals so we cant progress.
VAR has shafted us more than any other club in the PL.
Covid has now got our relegation rivals matches suspended meaning we have to play our games at a disadvantage.

How ****ing bad does it need to get for us.

Leeds, Watford, Burnley etc have a fair number of games in hand now that will be rescheduled into the new year.

This is a disgrace, it surely means they have the chance to buy players in January and strengthen their squads for games that should have been played before the window opens.

We on the other hand, get to play our games with a shlte squad . Absolute corruption

We can only hope it will back fire for them, with many games in a short period of time.

Aye, this is the only upside.

That and the fact that we were expected to lose these games (which, very nobly, we are doing) so the other teams could have created a bigger gap than we'll otherwise be facing.

IMO we are in a million miles better position now than when Ashley was here. Forget VAR. forget the super league top 6 and their plan to thwart us. All will come to he who waits and all we need is some patience. Hope has been restored.

I think we just have to get to January and see what the smell of stacks of Saudi money can do.

Should just think about ourselves and getting our own run of results together. We cannot control what others do with their games in hand but I don't think that is anything to be afraid of. Omicron will fuck with everyone in different ways so it's a bit of a wildcard; don't think it is possible to predict what that is going to look like over the next 2 months. If teams around us get ravaged, their games in hand might not count for much.

I'm just counting the days for that window to open.

Window or no window, we need to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. I can't remember a season with quite so many totally avoidable shit mistakes.

Aye, its the worst side we ever had(in PL at least), yet for buiding the future weve never been better.

So, the future looks bright but the present is shoite.
