    Papss takeaway haddock and chips were excellent last night.
    Tonight’s tapas at The Blitz was over priced and bland.

    Macy Browns for cocktails and golden lion for Guinness.

    Not been in the blitz yet, don’t you fancy the hart inn at Sandsend, we always walk there from Whitby and the food looks good

    Beware of the beach route on that walk, some bits can be cut off by the high tides

    Whitby is on my bucket list. What can I expect besides decent fish and chips, a nice harbour, climbing a few steps and bumping into Zippy and his bride?

    Beautiful scenery, great pubs and restaurants, friendly people, lots of hills and a beach unspoilt by amusements and deck chairs.

    I love it there in winter. The views are really dramatic.
