How come Christian Arabs and Muslims serve in the Army if it is an ''Apartheid State''???
Perhaps they don't want to go to jail Balan..?

Facebook took down the link but here you go Balan...

Two Israeli women were arrested on Wednesday after they refused to enlist in the Israeli military, citing objections to the IDF’s activities in the West Bank.

Conscientious objectors Tamar Alon, 18, and Tamar Ze’evi, 19, who were both slated to join the IDF, arrived Wednesday afternoon at the recruitment office in Tel Hashomer. There, after declaring their refusal to serve, the two were arrested and imprisoned for two days by army authorities. Israel does not recognize political or conscientious objection as grounds to receive exemption from the mandatory draft.

Alon and Ze’evi refused conscription due to their “unwillingness to contribute to the oppression of the Palestinian People,” according to a statement by Mesarvot — Political Refusal Network, an organization that is aiding the two objectors.

If you repeat it long enough ,you will start to believe it : ''the rights of Jews to steal Palestinian land.'' ''the rights of Jews to steal Palestinian land.'' ''the rights of Jews to steal Palestinian land.'' ''the rights of Jews to steal Palestinian land.''
    Better to learn more facts

Know Your History: The Palestine Of 1897 (NY Times Aug 15, 1897)
One of the narratives we hear from the Anti-semitists is, in simple terms, the Jews came from Europe and stole the land from the Palestinian people.
In an article published in the New York Times on August 15, 1897, two weeks before Theodor Herzl convened the First Zionist Congress.

    The main points of interest:
The modern Jewish settlement of the land was already happening in the 1800s
Land was not being stolen from Arabs living there – it was being sold legally to Jews by the administering Ottoman-Turks
There is no talk of an indigenous Palestinian Arab nation living there at the time, although of course there were Arabs living there, some of whom were even working with the Jews or on Jewish-owned land
There was marked progress as the Jews bought up land and established industry and infrastructure
There were more ancient Jewish settlements extant, and Arabian Jews living in the land in addition to the Jews from Europe.

One of those young girls said,'' “I believe that the ways of war, violence and oppression will not allow us to maintain a democratic state and be a ‘free people in our land,'” she said, referring to a line in Hatikva, Israel’s national anthem. “I refuse to enlist out of concern and love for my society and out of a desire to encourage public discourse on the character and future of our society.”

Ze’evi echoed Alon’s sentiments, insisting that she was refusing to serve due to her love for the land and its people.

“We will only get out of this cycle of fear and violence when we open our hearts and minds, look at what is happening around us, and allow ourselves to feel the pain suffered by the people who live in this land,” said Ze’evi. “Once we all understand and accept this reality, I want to believe empathy, tolerance and compromise will be our only choice.”

Tamar Alon is a second-generation conscientious objector. Her father Chen Alon famously refused to serve as a reserve officer during the Second Intifada and then founded “Combatants for Peace,” a bi-national peace movement that connects Israeli and Palestinian activists.

I would say two girls from part of our 'left wing ' Yes, 'the Peace Now Movement'.
I would say they do not see reality, the Palestinians pay to kill Jews. Kill a Jew ,your family gets an award, you go to jail What do you think some will do ? In several years these are the first I know about the young refusing ,of course some will object.

The Pallys and their apartheid state.

"Archbishop Justin Welby worries about Christians in the Holy Land, but seems mainly concerned with those in Israel. No doubt they face problems, but these are tiny compared with what they would endure if they lived under the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Some years ago I visited Christian Arabs living in and near Bethlehem. There, for public relations reasons, the PA gives the impression of tolerance towards Christianity, which was established in the region long before Islam.

It is misleading. Christians are powerless and without protection. One young man, lamenting the refusal of Muslim-dominated courts to help in a property dispute, burst out: 'We are so alone! All of us Christians feel so lonely in this country.'

I was told, in whispers, of the unprintable desecration of the Church of the Nativity by Palestinian gunmen in 2002.

Now Christians are emigrating, and towns that have been Christian for more than 1,000 years are becoming Muslim.

The Archbishop should both pray and act for this unhappy, forgotten and unfashionable minority."

A ONE STATE SOLUTION is the only possible way to get you lot moving forward towards peace Balan.

Opening the gates to the world's largest open air concentration camp might help too.

Thanks again to Balan for highlighting some of the realities of Israel - not the anti-Semitic media and the desire to paint Israel as the aggressor.

Yes I am “goy”. However, I have felt very welcome and respected in Israel and have seen no evidence of “apartheid”.
