My thoughts exactly on this. No need for mild panic or bemoaning the statement, looks a good and correct piece of PR.

Initially I tended to agree with you but if they are dishing out additional 500 tickets to away fans then I think it will be on unless there are further cases of course.

8000/9000 crowd on Sunday means more cash in the pot as apposed to a midweek 5-6000, of course it will go ahead even if we play the youngsters.

If that is how our club is thinking then I question the leadership decision makers.

Chesterfield/Wrexham both called games off recently they took no risks we should do the same.

We took a risk last year and lost at home to a no mark team.

Lose this match and we have very little chance of getting top spot that is how big this game is imo.

This. We cannot afford to field a weakened team against promotion rivals. Taking a chance on a game this crucial is bleddy ridiculous.

IB has explained why he wants to play. Economics were not a reason. He trusts the squad and has now sent out that message in public. IB is the one that has to motivate the players and calling off a game of football when enough players are available would have been counterproductive.
We also don’t know who in the squad has tested positive, so we don’t know if we will be putting out a ‘weakened’ team. The beauty of keeping it under wraps is that Wrexham also have no clue what kind of side we can put out.

Yes because the owners have shown throughout their tenure that making money and cutting costs are clearly their top priorities?!?!?!

I know the Reedtz brothers are media shy and choose wisely to put out only the essential but how can any Notts fan draw this conclusion from their words/actions to date is beyond me.
