I haven’t seen the latest Tykes TV broadcast - but I’ll take a look later.

But on the subject of these owners.
IMO - Barnsley supporters are currently going through a period of mass hysteria.
But is there any wonder when the wheels have dropped off in such a disastrous fashion.
Most football supporters who take an interest in the Championship must be thinking - WTF has happened at Barnsley this season !?!?!

If we were mid table by now things would seem disastrous - but I’m sure there wouldn’t be this anger which currently exsists.
    But we are bottom 2.
So the owners are going to get it big style.

IMO - these owners are not as bad as what is being portrayed.
They have put together some excellent players such as Collins, Mads, Helik, Brittain, Styles, Morris etc etc.
But those good players haven’t been enough.
There was a need for more - especially an experienced midfielder and a good target striker.
And on top of that they have made some atrocious decisions - including:
    Dike debacle.
    Khaled / Giddings interview revelations.

Schopp didn’t stand a chance of putting a decent team out when the directors where telling him how to play.

The one factor these owners have in their favour is that they have enough financial clout to turn things around quickly IF THEY WANT TO.

    IF THEY WANT TO.

These owners are in it to make a few quid - but to do that the players and team have to be a success.
Us supporters are hurting like foook because of the state we are in.
No doubt the directors will also be hurting while they are adding up all the £££millions they are going to lose when the club is relegated.

That money can’t be recouped by selling players - as far more money has been spent bringing in all those young players than what can be regained from sales.
Basically because the value of the players has not materialised has expected because of the poor performances of the team.
Poor performances caused by poor recruitment (quality / experience?) in key positions.

For example - Styles hasn’t progressed - most of us thought in a few years time this player is going to be worth £5m to £10m.
If we sell him now - how much would we expect to get for him?
    £1.5m ?
I.e - the same price as what Herbie Kane cost us.

A team full of young developing talent that was going to be worth £££millions in a few years time has been reduced to just two players - Collins and Helik - that’s worth putting in the shop window.

A club is only as good as its directors.
It’s time they looked at a different tactic.
    Time to prime the pump.
Although in saying that - it’s probably too late now.
