Also I thought the ref did very well to send off one of Wrexham's two goalkeepers to make things fair.
It was very confusing at the time. The lino appeared to give it, but the ref played on for a good five seconds*. It doesn't sound long, but it appeared he hadn't allowed it until he finally pointed to the centre circle. If he had looked over to the lino (as I did) he could have blown straight away. Even after giving it he went to have a chat before confirming it.
* The header crosses the line on 2:59, the ref points to the centre circle on 3:04.
Don't mean to be picky EP but the ref actually blows his whistle at 3.03, you can hear it. It looks like his view of the linesman is also blocked by Sam straight after the goal, so that caused maybe a seconds delay in blowing as well. So taking three seconds to make a crucial decision is not that bad really. The linesman I must say was in the perfect position to give it also. I would love to see the footage Parkinson has seen that shows the ball did not cross the line.
Wrexham 'fans' other claims of poor officiating are also proved to be just sour grapes. Chicksen was clearly onside before crossing for the first goal, and Lennon clearly deliberately handled the ball to give away the penalty.

That manager has a lot to lose. I don't know how committed his Hollywood bosses are, but if he disappoints them their backing will diminish in proportion to his failure. I imagine he has as big a budget as any lower league club if not more and to fail in a promotion bid with that backing he will be remembered for it.
Knowing the average American's knowledge of world geography, it struck me at the time of their buying that they thought they were buying "An English Football Club" and I wouldn't be surprised if they thought Wales was just a part of England, wherever that is.
The highlights show how good the move was that created the Notts penalty as mentioned post match by IB. Patient, on the deck, plenty of movement off the ball with a lovely weighted through ball#burchball
Similarly for the 3rd goal with the ball through to Chicksen. I'm going old school when I say I love a good slide-rule pass and there are two fine successful examples in that one game.
Notts version...
to be fair, I think the last one didn’t cross the line so for me, no goal.
