The best thing about darts was the laugh that Leighton Rees’s combover used to give me or watching that overweight, alcoholic midget that was Jocky Wilson throwing his darts uphill because he was so short!

Joking apart, I used to watch it in the halcyon days of Bristow because I loved his bravado and his style.
We had a dartboard in the staff room at work when I worked in menswear and I spent more time on the board than I did on the shop floor.
I even adopted the same throwing style as Eric with the little finger controlling the tip of the arrow.
I’m admitting too much at this point!
I lost interest when Eric got the yips tbh.
