    Saints Been Bought

A serbian businessman has bought 80% of the club for £100 million

I'm looking forward to the outcry about Serbian war crimes. . . that is how it works right?

They're probably not wealthy enough for it to be a problem!

I'd forgotten about your love of Mitro Mids.

I suspect he'll come up with Fulham and be found out again, dropping back down - probably with Fulham to be honest.

He scored plenty for us in his first season in the premier league and would have scored more if Rafa didnt keep ignoring him for gayle joselu and murphy

I think Southampton should only be allowed to play us in our rearranged fixture with the same owners as before

some quality tlt for tat on social media.
This new bloke doesn't even have as much money as the people he has just bought it from.

He has come out and said, the plan is to buy cheap and sell at a profit.

Just wait until the Serbian Sports Direct signs go up around their stadium

'Takeover could be very exciting for Saints'
Sky Sports News' Kaveh Solhekol on The Transfer Show:

"We're used to billionaires buying Premier League clubs, but what we have here is an investment company only set up in December by a man called Rasmus Ankersen, who was on this show in the summer. He was one of the directors of football at Brentford.

"He was instrumental in the way they have climbed up into the Premier League by using data to sign players who other clubs might not have seen the potential in.

"There's also an investment banker and venture capitalist called Henrik Kraft. These two men have got backing from a Serbian-born billionaire called Dragan Solak. He's made a lot of money setting up telecoms and media companies in south eastern Europe.

"They've said they want to turn Southampton into a multi-model club, like Red Bull, who have bought clubs in Germany, Austria, Brazil and America. They want to start with Southampton and then buy other clubs, and - significantly - other businesses.

"Technology businesses, especially those specialising in sport, and build a big sporting empire. It could be very exciting for Southampton supporters, and it's interesting Ankersen is involved, as he's got a reputation of finding bargains in the transfer market."
