Chesterfield may well live to regret their goalless draw at Dover. Notts must have no regrets over that fixture.

9/1 looks very generous indeed for us to win the title right now. Those odds will seriously shorten in no time if Notts do their job in the upcoming run of games.

I've had £20 on us to win it at 9-1 at William Hill now. Went and put it on at the bookies in town near the square. Much prefer the old school way than online betting.

I'm so tempted to put £50 on but i am superstitious when it comes to betting on Notts

Just watched first half of Swindon v Man City. I know the opponents are the best team in England, but watching Swindon I don't think we would have any fears when we get to league 2, considering they are in a play-off position.

You don't know what you're missing!

I haven't been in a betting shop in years.

I caved in and stuck £20 on. I will take it out of the winnings of the Chesterfield title win if we fail.

I'm not sure Rochdale would agree with you.

Why? Because they beat us after a replay courtesy of a last minute winner having earlier drawn 1-1 at home?

Although using a game against the champions of league is a questionable barometer to say the least.

I agree. Did you watch the game? I was meaning that when they had the ball (not that much!) they were certainly no better than us.

Note that I didn't say we would run away with the league, I said we wouldn't have anything to be afraid of.

Looking at how IB has us playing, and with the promotion of 4 teams, I really do feel that if we can get out of this league and keep him we could get to L1 fairly quickly.

No I love watching Man City play but this game didn't interest me certainly not on a Friday night.

I'm not surprised to read your comments though as I'm sure we are better on the ball or at least as good on the ball as a fair few L2 sides but none of that matters unless we get to L2 level playing this lovely brand of football. That's all I'm bothered about anything beyond that including how we would fare in L2 means nowt IMO.
