Or the other side of the coin where people accept that Shankland suffered from poor service, but that cannot be an excuse for Clark who was top scorer last season with the same service. Truly baffling!

To me, you play both of them in the team and get the ball to them in the right situation, they can be 15 plus scorers a season. But this season we are playing some nice stuff but creating less quality chances!

Clark didn't score that many from open play so the goals scored per chances made for him ratio is irrelevant. If Shankland took the penalties instead of Clark then he might have been our top goalscorer?

For as long as we're relying on guys like Pawlett & Harkes to create chances, we're wasting our time signing strikers. Tony Watt, Lawrence Shankland, whoever, will make no difference in this team. Sort the supply & we'll score the goals.

The club should really look to get him back somehow. Would love it. **** hearts and anyone else who tries to sign him.

Ye I agree with that. Hopefully Biamou is the target man that can get Niskanen back on form as he really needs a player he can cross the ball to and hopefully the Biamou/McNulty combo will get us goals 🙏

Agree with this also. Niskanens faded big time. Hopefully the break gives him a second wind. Looking forward to seeing Biamou & McNulty together if it ever happens.

2 penalties we are talking about! And didnt Shankland take a penalty and miss it late in the season?

Why is the chances/goals ratio irrelevant? Clarks and Shanklands role is to be in the box and score from chances created for him with the odd worldy thrown in(Clark v Hibs and Shanks v St Johnstone)! No chances, no goals!

Shankland was pish at penalties!! Even the one or two that he scored prior to missing were bobblers.

OK so according to Wiki...I know....Clark scored 11 goals in total so 9 from open play(so not many) and Shankland scored 8(also not many) so if Shankland scored the pens that Clark scored he'd be top goalscorer 🤔......but he's 5hite at pens so.....
