Speaking to Sky News just now, Dr Clive Dix said the original vaccines were designed to stop infection and transmission as well as serious disease.

But new, more transmissible variants mean they "do not stop infections any more", even though they are still very effective at preventing severe illness.

Dr Dix said we are dealing with a "much, much milder variant" now so it is "pointless giving more and more vaccine to people who are not going to get very ill".

Isolation should be cut to 5 days too as it's the case in the USA to aid the NHS and businesses where some workers are getting a bonus by being off work with symptoms lesser than a cold. The infectious period is a couple of days before the positive result and a couple of days after.

I’ve noticed a few more ICU doctors coming forward to give their views on this virus and it all seems a little bizzare that only now they’ve been sort of allowed to. Youtube and the like have been censoring many videos online, rightly so with the fake stuff but I don’t understand why with doctors.
