I was catching winter chest viruses every year through my 40’s and 50’s so I started having the flu jab and I now haven’t had a winter virus since that first flu jab.

People haven’t got a clue until they get proper flu,it really p e e s me off when I hear people say they’ve got the flu when they’ve actually got a really heavy cold!

Proper flu absolutely wipes you out, I was very ill for about 10-14 days and it took me a further month to get back to normal.

No wonder there’s a shortage of tinfoil in Harrogate and Kingswinford!
Yes most people say Flu when it's a heavy cold they have.
Real Flu kills thousands of people every year, especially the old. But we have never worried about it before.
