Do you think it is fair that he has now become the fall guy for our recent performances?

Definitely not, we are creating almost nothing chance wise so it unfair to criticise Clark. Some folk just don't rate him, I think it's that simple really. Harkes suffers in the same way.

Thats what I was meaning when I said that he was being done dirty by the club....he is set up to fail! We have played our best with Levitt in our team..that should be a step for a hint for the management to see what type of player we should be looking at . An experienced SPL midfielder is required...nothing fancy..just a steady passer of the ball. Ideally we could get someone else with pace to burn as well.
Watt, Shankland and at least one new midfielder and I think we are in business!
I don't want to slate any of these players as I think we are just missing a couple of pieces of the jigsaw which would give the players the best chance to shine. Our inability to score is down to the management/owners rather than the players. I am hopeful that we will get it fixed this transfer window though!

I like Harkes and Clark if they are performing but they aren't right now. Clark in particular is having a nightnare he's struggling with the absolute basics expected of a striker. We ultimately need better than both but both have their place in the squad. I think Clark is an impact sub and Harkes is rotated in and out the team as too many ganes he contributes nothing when he can be excellent on his day. Need much more from both.

I think where Clark is struggling is he doesn't have the ability to hold the ball up. He is much better roaming around as the number 10, coming deep and linking up. He isn't missing a dozen clear cut chances this season, nobody is getting decent chances at all, which comes down to the lack of creativity in midfield

It's understandable and very easy to blame the quality of players we have available (and of course it's a factor), especially with the injuries we've had but I think we just don't get the ball into the box often enough. Drives me crazy the *****footing that goes on sometimes.

Freeman came into the side and changed it a bit with his surging runs down the right and getting crosses in the box. For whatever reason this has stopped regardless the formation we play. Some players need to start taking responsibility again to create something as they are capable but our overall lack of pace tends us to try pass our way to goal and a big defender eventually just shoves clark out the way and we are on the defensive again. Pawlett is a miss when he's out which i guess shows where we are at with regards to the quality of our forward players.
