    the coup is already underway.
Does he want to go the way of May?

2&3 also involve some degree of telling the truth so, as you suggest, seem unlikely. We’ll see. I wonder if PMQ’s has ever attracted so much attention before? Sadly, when there are so many truly important things to deal with, the behaviour of the PM and others has turned politics in this country into a barely believable soap opera.

Maybe still time for him to try and shut down Parliament again.

P.S. He won’t go ‘the way of May’, Tricky. I seldom agreed with her but she at least had some degree of integrity and retains some level of respect within her Party. We always knew he was hugely damaging to the country but Tory supporters thought they’d at last stumbled on a ‘winner’. They hadn’t...he’s a proven liar and a liability and will, I suspect, be quickly cast aside by his Party in much the same way as Thatcher was.

Sorry? You're using May and word integrity in the same sentence?
I don't hink I need to go any futher than her Brexit betrayals and her stance on Wales.

Her own party had her removed after her lies crumbled a massive Tory majority. Johnson will go the same way and stability will return.
Best defense the Government has, Is the poor level of opposing politics in this country.

Tis true, its as if Starmer has been given one penalty after another, after the opposition keeper has been sent off and no sub keeper on the bench.

Problem is Starmer couldn't score against an ashen faced Ron Knee, 59, let alone one legged Wally Foot

Only in a relative sense, Tricky, but please don’t you and GP try and blame the opposition. The Tories have been in power for almost twelve years. That’s seen three of the least competent leaders of this country of all time and the latest excels only at lying

So, he went for number 2,
It might buy him time but Inquisitor Sue,
Will find his resignation is due,
and his career will be up the flue

It's not a matter of blaming the opposition RA.
The simple fact is, they have come across to the general public as a lot worse and absolute ****.
Ask yourself this. How can not one party dispossess the Torys, being as bad as you say?
We've had them all, from Corbyn/ Cable/Milliband/Swinson(I'm the next prime minister)/ Starmer and the fanatics of Jockistan and Wales.

    AND IT'S GETTING WORSE.

Sadly Tricky, the truth is that time and time again you try and turn attention to Labour and that’s really not relevant. I agree they’re not very good but that isn’t what this is about.
The problem is that the current PM, and alleged leader of this country, is in the process of being exposed for the hypocritical liar and charlatan he is.
His pathetic and obsequious apology this afternoon was about him being caught out, not actually recognising that he’s done wrong with behaviour that is an insult to all those who have observed the rules for the last twenty odd months.
The bigger problem is that if he lies - sorry makes such ‘errors of judgement’ - about matters like this, then how sound might his judgement have been over other aspects of Covid or even your beloved Brexit?

On the subject of liars and ‘errors of judgement’ I see that other architect of Brexit, one Nigel Farage, is currently in cahoots with the Djokovic clan. Says it all really.

As for why Labour struggle to simply overthrow the Tories...probably because, as a result of Johnson’s lies, Corbyn’s inadequacies and the general public being totally pi**ed off with the tedious Brexit ‘fallout’ the current Government was elected with a huge majority. It’s very difficult to overthrow any government in such circumstances especially when so few of the current Conservative Party are prepared to grow a backbone.

P.S. Andy...appreciate your aims, but why do we have to search so far down for the Covid thread when there are at least twelve threads above it which have all been granted ‘Sticky’ status but have nothing to do with football or DCFC?
