Oldham owner puts club up for sale

This is a club in serious financial trouble and the fans have clearly turned on Abdallah Lemsagam. They are suppose to be the next 'Bury' club.

Not for the faint of heart being a football club owner.

I have to wonder what people are thinking when they buy/invest in a club. You have to be a fan really you are not going to be making any money out of it unless its a big 6 club. TS has reported to have put 30 m into Rotherham so far ok he owns the club and stadium and it self is asset but still .Why did this guy think buying Oldham was a good idea You have to have a serious amount of cash to first make a viable squad to compete and challenge at the right end of the table so crowds will attend .Then make the ground and facilities reasonable and third actually have a fan base .I question some of TS comments about the premier league sometimes then i look at our club and how good we are with stability and everything we have and i thank the lucky stars that we have Mr Steward and his board.

I agree. Potentially anyone interested in buying a football club should fail the 'fit and proper' test because they cannot be of sound mind and body

I’d imagine there’s a few especially with the last few years we’ve had

When the first lock down happened we were warned that many clubs would not make it to the next season and many more would follow

Well nearly two years later not a single one has been liquidated (thankfully)
Like you say I'm sure there's a few who are a bit precarious though
