More importantly have 5 more points than us and played the same amount of games.

Damn league table!! Always seems to get in the way of us getting promoted.

As for today's game although I'm not particularly bothered about the competition on a wider scale Sam scoring both goals and hopefully performing well is a big positive. We hoped a fringe player would step up. Also keeps the winning run and mentality in the camp.

Giving players like Sam game time is the best benefit of this competition for me. Getting some decent 1st team experience can only be good for them or prove they are not up to it. 1 off sub appearences do not give them chance enough.
