I'd be happy to see us withdraw from this competition in the next round. Credit to the lads for getting this far, but our main interest is an advancing above Halifax in the league table instead.

NL play offs take place between Wednesday 25th May 2022 and Sunday 5th June 2022. The Trophy final is Sunday 22nd May 2022, so if we made it to the final we really wouldn't want to be in the 4th-7th play off spots having to play a QF just three days later!

Best solution is lose in the Trophy. Minimises fixture congestion and reduces risk just in case of 4th-7th play off. OK it gives game time to some who need it but too much to others who don't.

I suppose the real best solution is win the league.
