I think a lot of stuff is being done off "manuals" and "modelling" at the moment.

I'm happy for modern techniques to be used but sometimes you get your head stuck in a manual and you end up with a team of robots trying to play like a manual. To me that's what we look like at the minute. Pedestrian and far nice. Winning teams aren't nice and polite. Just look at Ferguson Clough and McLean teams, they didn't fanny about. A different era but the principle is still basically the same especially in the SPL.

So often we end up having to try to break down 11 men because no one will turn and play it forward. Plus some of our players first touches and decision making are terrible.
So by the time weve passed it back and across, hardworking teams have their 11 behind the ball and we have to start all over again. Glass has shown that he is prepared to run at a defence and commit men but he didn't get on until it was too late.

I do think we have a coach who can deliver but he needs to get his head out of the manuals and start allowing free flowing attacking football THE SECOND we win the ball.

I am just wondering how he thinks we have a coach that can deliver, i am not meaning to offend anyone, what i see is eye bleeding football, forward passing is no bad no awful, its fk horrific.. I do not see anything about Courts that exites me about the future, i have supported united fot over 45 years and i know we will never been what we had again , but i bloody well hope we should be able to play decent football, and saturday be the same get all hoping maybe this week we will start playing decent football, i will never give up hoping, but its fk awful to much week in week out , odd game once in a blue moon now, Courts is not the answer for me, Funny how Ross county not pot p1ss in 10 points out 18 united big fat fk zero out 18 . To start Macnulty no match fit is utter madness and no start Watt , i do not get it.

Plus I can 100% guarantee you that Harkes Pawlett and McNulty would not get a start at any bottom 6 club, definitely not at LivingstonSt Mirren or St Johnstone ( maybe with the possible exception of the Fun) because they are tippy happy and soft. I've been saying for ages we need taller stronger harder players. We're a soft touch and managers like Goodwin know it.
