There were definitely a few times a ball could have been played. There were also several times where he needlessly fouled a defender or was caught flat footed or not strong enough when a ball came near him. For his pace alone he probably needs go start in front of Clark but hes not really that quick.

He's pish. A complete letdown of a signing. I had high hopes for him when he signed. He was electric for Hibs and I was genuinely excited to see him in a tangerine shirt. Fast forward 18 months and I'm still waiting to see him put in a good performance.

They are all too similar, Neither watt, Clark or McNulty have pace, and none of them is going to dominate their centre half in the air.

Problem is, there’s not many strikers out there who can, and if we were to unearth a gem he’d be away after about 6 games for thirty bob and a tube o smarties

Not saying Mcnulty is outstanding or anything just pointing out that I agreed with TTT that he was trying to do the runs but as usual we prefer to keep hold ball by going side and back with it when a guys trying to make runs

Yes, we just don't play the ball to the strikers enough. McNulty was aching for a ball to be played through or over the defence and I don't think it was even attempted once.

Couldn't hit the target when through one on one at Pittodrie, couldn't hit the target from 7 yards out at the ET end when Freeman put it on a plate.

To be fair Gary Lineker missed from closer in at that end but his overall chance to goal ratio is just ahead of our top strikers.

Running about a lot though 👍

The service isn’t great, but even if the runs were spotted would you have any confidence of any of our strikers beating a defender for pace with a run in behind. They need support, they are incapable of creating something themselves. In fairness mcnulty knocks his pan in, I actually don’t think he is a bad footballer, but like Clark he is lightweight. Lack of outlet/support Tuesday down flanks killed us. Nothing down right with a center half there and Mcmann hardly crosses halfway line. No pace in team to carry the team up the pitch. Watson should be on bench for his pace.

Clark actually missed a great chance too 2nd half when he headed a corner over. Just got to hope one of these chances doesn’t fall for our strikers.
