Thread: Transfer Rumour Thread 21/22

A couple of things that strike me about Chalmers and, given I don't personally know him so they are probably bull**** and unfair. But this is how it seems.

    1. He thinks he's made it and no longer needs to put the same effort in.

    2. Leading on from that, he'll never make it at our level never mind anything higher.

As I say, maybe very unfair but this is certainly how it looks. I'm probably pedicured after seeing him in the Overgate without a mask on.

All i have seen lately from Chalmers is, when he gets his chance, he has all the right touches and wee tricks, but thinks thats all he needs to do to play football.

Thing is though, i truly believe if someone can got it into his head that there is a world class player in there, that a wee bit more effort will see that come through.

Its funny how it works with different managers, Mellon liked Chalmers but punted Glass and Mochrie out on loan, Courts plays Glass and to a certain extent Mochrie and punts Chalmers out on loan

Chalmers may have a bit of an attitude problem - or at least not a fully professional bought in attitude. Shame as at times in past he looked exactly what we needed. I fully expected him to be a regular by now but others on here said they didnt see it. Maybe they and Tam are right? Still time but if he cant break into this squad he must be doing something wrong day in at training.

Chalmers has some excellent qualities id rather see him stay and he'd be a good substitute to use. Not sure if he's ready for the responsibility of being a starter yet and obviously something isn't quite right i tend to think it's an effort/application thing too

He's never been out on loan and played. i'd like to see him go out, tear it up and then do it for us, if he cant do it on loan then we have our answer
