Whilst the interest may have gone to his head, I was told in November that he was pissed off as certain, shall we say, promises made to him when he signed, hadn't been fulfilled and that he'd be away in January as a result.

He was promised a fall out with Tam by August and that never happened, so he was annoyed and wanted a move

heard the same a while back and I think from what I remember a team or teams were in for him in summer which we rejected and he felt we had gone against our word in doing so and he's been really unhappy with TA since then. If true it's strange how he managed to play so well after that then completely drop his levels, something else must have happened internally or it's none of that, and it's just a simple case of a player losing form, and we are assuming he's downed tools

if we've just bagged a 6 figure sum for someone who 1 - wanted away 2 - been very poor then that is some bit of business

McDonald coming in would be ideal and IMO an upgrade on Fuchs, don't think some on here realise how good a player McDonald really is.

Agree with this. Just hope that McDonald is able to recover from that op though to be able to play at this level
