Sure i voiced concerns regarding Mulgrew and his injury history and happy to be proved wrong so far, and am willing to give McDonald a chance. I would though rather a younger player was brought as we seem to be moving away from what our club is supposed to be about.
This is why I'll be very surprised if we sign him. He doesn't fit the club model. He's not a young player who will develop, and he's not an older player that we can put in the shop window and get a fee for. On the other hand Mulgrew didn't fit these so I could be wrong 😎

But it looks like with Fuchs away, and we would have known he was likely away this window, there will be incoming.

Should be a Good move for his development though they are struggling, actually surprised he hasn’t featured more off the bench with his pace.

Likewise mochrie and meekison, not expecting them to be starting every week, and as well as youngsters did against rangers they were posted missing somewhat v hibs next game, but expected to see them coming off the bench more.

As with Mulgrew, we may buck the trend on this one. Tam's already spoken of his admiration for the player & how he would fit in well with the way we play. We'll wait and see what happens now with Fuchs away. The fact he's a free agent means we have time, unless of course the Fermers swoop.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a player or two coming in from down south. TA was down there a couple of weeks ago working on a transfer target. We're definitely active.

I just wonder how much getting Watt in early has taken away from the wage budget

A fair bit I'd imagine. He came in and suddenly our transfer policy was one in, one out, so that suggests we're now at our limit. I'd imagine Fuchs moving now opens things back up again. There's a fair chance we'll see another outgoing as well.

I'm not against KM coming in. He could be a fantastic find, plus the seethe from across the road would be great. But.....I'd be happy if he's not the only midfield signing, it's the key area to strengthen now and it would be a massive risk to rely on his fitness holding up.
So I'm hoping we have at least one other possibility we're close with.
